Our Conferences

Congrès 2020 à Montréal de l'Institut des troubles d'apprentissage
Every year, over 1,400 delegates gather for three days in Montreal to attend workshops and talks given by experts on learning disabilities. This is a major event intended to train and mobilize professionals who work in education, health and social services sectors. Congrès 2020 à Rouyn-Noranda de l'Institut des troubles d'apprentissage

For the first time, several actors from the education, health, social services and community sectors in Abitibi-Témiscamingue are collaborating with the Learning Disabilities Institute to organize the first Regional Conference on Inclusive Education, which aims to support the academic success of young people and adults from preschool to university students.

Our parent conferences

Our parent conferences are full-day events made up of talks and workshops. These conferences are designed specifically for parents of children who have learning difficulties or associated challenges/disorders at school. Our goal? To help parents understand their childs needs and to provide them with the tools and support they need to help their children succeed and flourish both at school and socially.

Our annual gala

In Quebec, one person in five is affected by a learning disability: an invisible and lifelong obstacle, that often causes tremendous distress for parents and can prevent adults from reaching their full potential. In order to allow us to maintain and develop our many activities (training, raising awareness, support), the Learning Disabilities Institute holds an annual gala for business people in the Greater Montreal area.
